Amenities

In addition to accommodation, LIVErNORTH provides many items for the comfort of liver patients in the Freeman Hospital. Items such as televisions, curtains, flower vases, books, magazines and PatientLine vouchers are all provided.

We provide a small amenities fund for the liver unit to use as appropriate. The Liver Unit Social Worker, the Transplant Coordinator and a member of the Group Executive administer the fund and apply to LIVErNORTH for additional funds when necessary.

Any item or service which is classed as primary health care (and therefore the responsibility of the Health Authority) can not be funded by LIVErNORTH.
