Fundraising Activities

We have very little in the way of overheads as LIVErNORTH is run entirely by unpaid volunteers. We have no offices to rent, executives, managers, coordinators, sales, clerical or IT staff to pay so every penny given to us goes to support liver patients, their carers and families.

We do not charge for membership, leaflets, the LIVErNEWS or any support given.

This is how we get our funds:

Numbers Club
Numbers Club Members pay a weekly subscription of £1 by standing order (£13 every quarter) and we have eight draws per year. Seven draws each pay out £250.00 and the Grand Prize Draw at our Christmas Dinner pays out £2500.00.

Annual Prize Raffle (20,000 tickets sold by members)
Private Donations & In Memoriam
Coffee events
Member Fundraising Events
Sponsored Events (Great North Run, Three Peaks Challenge, Bungee Jumping etc. You name it, someone has done it for us!)
Donations in exchange for pens, badges, tee shirts, key rings and wristbands etc.
